uvex horizon CV MIPS ski helmet

Two worlds. One system. More protection. If you have previously used a helmet and goggles separately, it is time for a new approach. Discover the uvex horizon CV MIPS – a combination of visor technology and the latest helmet safety standards.

Simply pull the visor slightly forward and lift it upwards until it stops in the open position. It remains securely in place regardless of your speed. When lowered, it fits perfectly against the helmet, even when wearing prescription glasses.

The helmet is made using hybrid technology – beneath the durable ABS shell is a polycarbonate layer produced using inmould technology, along with an impact-absorbing EPS core. The construction meets the highest safety standards, while the Mips® system provides additional protection. A low-friction layer located inside the helmet absorbs and redirects the rotational and centrifugal forces generated during an impact, which may reduce the risk of head and brain injuries.

The uvex 360° IAS fit system enables individual adjustment and a secure fit of the helmet on the head. Combined with the adjustable ventilation system, the technical lining helps control the temperature inside the helmet and prevents heat from building up, even during intensive skiing.

The uvex supravision® coating prevents the visor from fogging up. The frameless, spherical lens with an expanded vision+ field of view and uvex colorvision® technology improves contrast and colour intensity. Since clear hearing is an important part of safety, the hear+ ear pads ensure clear perception of sounds from the surroundings.
