K2 RECKONER KF Men's Skis

K2 Reckoner KF is a flagship freestyle/freeride model developed in collaboration with Karl Fostvedt – designed for advanced and expert skiers who treat the entire mountain as a playground for creative riding. The twin-tip construction, Powder Twin Rocker profile and lively character allow you to combine big jumps, deep-snow skiing and freestyle tricks with fast, demanding lines in the terrain.

At the heart of the ski is the Pure Aspen Core, made from aspen wood. The core provides a favorable strength-to-weight ratio, consistent flex and dynamic, responsive handling. As a result, the Reckoner KF remains lively and energetic while maintaining predictable behavior during powerful skiing and the landing of big jumps.

The Powder Twin Rocker profile uses pronounced rocker at both the front and rear of the ski, combined with a twin-tip construction. This provides good flotation in deep snow, high maneuverability and freedom when riding switch. The Reckoner KF is easy to pivot and steer in soft snow, making it well suited to a freestyle approach to off-piste riding.

One of the key technologies is Spectral Braid – a fiberglass braid with variable fiber angles. It allows K2 to precisely tune torsional stiffness and flex in different zones of the ski. As a result, the construction combines stability and control where they are most needed with the appropriate elasticity and freedom of handling.

Carbon Boost provides additional energy. Strategically positioned carbon fibers improve energy transfer, rebound and stability without making the entire construction excessively stiff. This allows the ski to retain its lively character and quick rebound, which are particularly important during jumps and dynamic changes of direction.

The construction is complemented by Uni-Directional Flax, consisting of unidirectionally arranged natural flax fibers. Their role is to absorb vibrations and dampen unwanted oscillations. This helps calm the ski in uneven and variable snow without taking away its energetic freestyle character.

The entire construction is bonded with Biobased Resin – a resin containing 31% biobased carbon. It ensures durable bonding between the individual layers and resistance to low temperatures, while making use of some plant-based raw materials.

The K2 Reckoner KF is sold in a Flat version without bindings. Bindings should be selected appropriately for the user, and their installation, adjustment and inspection should be carried out by an authorized service center before use.
