K2 MINDBENDER 98 TI ALLIANCE Skis

A ski model for all conditions, every day. Designed with Ti Y Beam technology to provide excellent turn initiation, control and stability in a variety of conditions. The considerable stiffness underfoot provides excellent grip and edge hold. They feature Y-Beam technology, a titanium laminate that ensures precision in handling and turning, power underfoot and stability in the tail, while retaining the maneuverability required for freeride skiing.

Technologies:

• Torsion Control Design – designed to increase stability and control in every type of snow, Torsion Control Design combines progressive front flex with an extended ski profile. Torsional stiffness in the front and middle sections of the skis is combined with a more flexible tail. K2 skis with TCD technology offer precision, proper turn initiation and smooth turning in every type of snow.
• PowerWall – thanks to the use of enlarged ABS sidewalls, energy transfer from the skis to the surface is significantly increased. The ABS sidewalls are integrated into the wooden core in the middle section of the ski. This ensures direct and precise energy transfer to the ski.
• Ti Y-Beam – a metal laminate positioned in the wooden core of the skis. It has a shape resembling the letter “Y”. This laminate provides precision in turning (front section of the ski), power and edge hold (middle section), as well as stability (rear section). All of these features are essential for proper ski handling during freeride skiing. The precisely positioned “Y” laminate provides torsional stiffness while maintaining an even flex, which enables controlled power management along the entire length of the ski.
