BBB NanoRibbon Gel Handlebar Tape (BHT-19)

NanoRibbon Gel uses a Nano Texture structure, featuring a surface with microscopic pores that increase the contact friction between the hands and the tape. In practice, this improves grip control with sweaty hands and in conditions of increased humidity, without the need for a highly aggressive tread pattern.

The 2.5 mm thickness and the gel layer on the handlebar side increase the level of cushioning. This configuration limits the transmission of high-frequency vibrations to the hands, which is important during longer rides on the road, on rougher asphalt or on gravel. The gel also improves the tape’s adhesion to the handlebar and stabilises the position of the layers after wrapping.

Grooves on the surface increase grip security and support the removal of moisture from the contact area. The manufacturer also specifies an “appropriate level of flexibility”, which makes it easier to tension the tape evenly and achieve a consistent thickness around the handlebar bends. The tape is available in black and in the fade blue purple colour variant.
