CoreCap is designed for threaded Presta valves with a removable core, both in inner tubes and tubeless systems. In practice, the set is installed in place of the standard Presta core, providing an inflation point compatible with a standard Schrader head, as found on many floor pumps and at petrol stations. The manufacturer emphasizes that no adapters are required and that the product is fully compatible with threaded Presta valves with a removable core.

The CoreCap design aims to increase airflow and reduce common usability issues associated with Presta valves. The solution increases airflow by up to 300 percent compared with traditional solutions, resulting in faster inflation and easier pressure adjustment, especially when tyre pressure is changed frequently in road and gravel tyres. In tubeless systems, the increased airflow is intended to reduce sensitivity to partial channel blockage caused by sealant, making it easier to top up the wheel in off-road conditions and during servicing.

CoreCap is also intended to simplify the initial seating of a tubeless tyre. In many cases, the tyre bead can be seated without using a compressor, thanks to the increased airflow during the initial inflation phase. In urban applications and on electric bicycles, the key benefit is the ability to inflate anywhere, including with a pump featuring a Schrader head, without risking damage to the delicate Presta core when connecting and disconnecting the pump head.
