Made from a durable ABS shell with a two-part EPS inner shell, it offers optimum impact resistance, effective shock absorption and excellent insulation. The integrated Mips® safety system absorbs rotational forces during a fall, providing better protection both on the piste and off-piste. The uvex IAS system creates a precise, secure fit to the shape of the head. The two-part, removable COOLMAX® EcoMade lining enhances wearing comfort. The active ventilation system with multiple openings ensures good airflow and prevents goggles from fogging up, regardless of speed. And one more fast feature: the Fidlock® magnetic buckle. It can be operated easily with one hand, even while wearing gloves. The hear+ ear pads provide this helmet with clear acoustics, with the option of adding thermal inserts on exceptionally cold days. Warm ears, a cool head, ready for unrestricted riding experiences.

Technologies:

Hardshell technology:Highly effective combination of an injection-moulded outer shell and an EPS inner shell. It is characterised by durability, high impact resistance, shock absorption and insulation against the cold.

MIPS system:The comprehensive safety system consists of a low-friction layer mounted inside the helmet. The layer is designed to reduce the risk of brain injury – during a collision, it can move slightly inside the shell, helping to redirect forces away from the head.

Ventilation system:An effective ventilation system that can be easily opened and closed with a glove when required. The front ventilation openings draw fresh air through the integrated ventilation channels. The opening and closing ventilation system provides optimum cooling and, when closed, keeps the head warm and dry.

uvex IAS:uvex helmets with the IAS system can be adjusted in width and adapted to any head size and shape. An additional advantage is that they can be operated while wearing gloves.

uvex monomatic:The comfortable uvex monomatic buckle, with its multi-stage design and anatomical shape, can be opened and closed with one hand, ensuring a perfect fit of the chin strap every time.

FAS system:The straps of the Fast Adapting System can be easily adjusted at any time to fit the shape of each user’s head.
