uvex horizon V MAG MIPS ski helmet

Technology. Safety. Adaptability. The uvex horizon V MAG MIPS combines advanced protection with the latest technological solutions in an integrated next-generation helmet and visor system.

The helmet is made using hybrid technology – beneath the durable ABS shell is a polycarbonate layer manufactured using Inmould technology and an impact-absorbing EPS core. The integrated Mips® safety system reduces the effect of rotational forces during an impact, providing an above-standard level of protection. The uvex 360° IAS fit system enables precise adjustment of the helmet to the head. As clear hearing is crucial for safety, the hear+ ear pads ensure clear perception of sounds from the surroundings.

The visor mechanism allows the lens to be easily raised and lowered and securely positioned in the parking position. The visor stays in place even with high air resistance. When lowered, it fits precisely to the helmet, including when wearing prescription glasses.

The frameless, photochromic, spherical lens with uvex variomatic® technology provides a wider vision+ field of view and instantly adapts to changing light conditions. The magnetic lens replacement system allows the lens to be changed quickly and easily, saving valuable time in extreme conditions. The uvex supravision® anti-fog coating additionally protects the lens against fogging.

The technical lining and adjustable ventilation system help keep the inside of the helmet dry and comfortable while preventing heat build-up, even during fast riding.
