Equipped with the innovative Mips® safety system, which absorbs rotational forces during a fall, it provides exceptional protection in varied off-piste terrain. The robust ABS shell combined with an Inmould polycarbonate layer and EPS core meets the highest safety standards while remaining surprisingly lightweight. The uvex IAS system, with an ergonomically designed dial at the back, provides precise adjustment for all head shapes – even in larger sizes (XL). The technical lining increases overall comfort by eliminating pressure points, while the integrated ventilation system ensures fresh air circulation through the helmet. An extremely practical feature: the uvex Monomatic buckle is very easy to operate with one hand, even while wearing gloves. In summary, this is a high-performance all-mountain ski helmet with additional safety – both on and off the slopes.

Technologies:

Hybrid technology: Combines the hardshell on the upper part of the helmet with the lower section using Inmould technology. The helmet consists of three elements: a robust injection-moulded outer shell made using hardshell technology, an inner EPS shell and an outer Inmould shell.

MIPS system: This comprehensive safety system consists of a low-friction layer fitted inside the helmet. The layer is designed to reduce the risk of brain injury – during an impact, the head can move slightly inside the shell, helping to redirect forces away from the head.

uvex IAS: uvex helmets with the IAS system can be adjusted in width and adapted to any head size and shape. Another advantage is that the system can be operated while wearing gloves.

Ventilation system: An effective ventilation system that can be easily opened and closed with a glove when needed. The front ventilation openings draw fresh air through the integrated ventilation channels. The openable and closable ventilation system provides optimal cooling and, when closed, keeps the head warm and dry.

uvex monomatic: The comfortable uvex monomatic buckle, featuring a multi-stage design and anatomical shape, can be opened and closed with one hand, ensuring the chin strap is perfectly adjusted every time.

FAS system: The Fast Adapting System straps can be easily adjusted at any time to fit the shape of each user’s head.
