The Northwave Extreme XC GTX is the ultimate shoe for professionals looking for a comfortable shoe that will provide a performance boost during winter training.

Our Extreme XC GTX® boots feature a Duratherm Kelvin Gore-Tex® membrane, which combines excellent breathability with complete water and wind protection and superior thermal insulation. Technical features and maximum comfort in all weather conditions are ensured. Additional padding at the front of the boots ensures warm toes even in the most extreme conditions.

Very good energy transfer is guaranteed by the Carbon XC 12 sole with a stiffness of 12.0 and a carbon insert in the pedal area, providing an advantage over long distances thanks to the flexibility in the medial zone.
Strategically placed TPU inserts provide high grip and exceptional abrasion resistance.

The patented ultra-light XFrame® upper features an overlapping construction and is made of the most innovative materials, wrapping the foot evenly without pressure points, enabling excellent power transfer, eliminating energy dispersion.

Thanks to the latest technologies, we have managed to save 5% of the weight in the rubber protector area while still guaranteeing abrasion resistance and exceptional 360° protection throughout the shoe.

The SLW3 system allows for a more precise, optimal fit of the shoe to your foot. The easy and intuitive mechanism allows for millimeter-level adjustment of the shoe closure and release, even while riding and wearing winter gloves.

The new Easyfit collar made of the extremely flexible Gore-Tex Rattler® membrane and highly insulating neoprene ensures great freedom of movement and maximum protection against unfavorable weather conditions.

The ergonomic heel shape with anatomical fit, enhanced by the latest thermoformed support technology, combined with the Arctic 4Layer insert made of Aluminum EVA+ and EVA+ fleece, provides excellent thermal insulation. 360° reflective inserts increase visibility and safety on the road, especially in low-light conditions.
