NORTHWAVE EXTREME R GTX Cycling Shoes

The Northwave Extreme R GTX is the ultimate shoe for cyclists seeking comfort and performance. Designed for cold winter road training, it features a waterproof and windproof Gore-Tex® Duratherm Kelvin membrane, which provides excellent breathability, guaranteeing exceptional comfort in all weather conditions, even the most extreme. Exceptional thermal properties are achieved thanks to additional Thinsulate® insulation in the toe and a membrane in the upper.

Power transfer is provided by the Morph Carbon AAS 12 sole, made of a lightweight and durable blend of carbon and glass fiber with a stiffness index of 12.0.

The patented XFrame® upper and wrap-around construction combine innovative materials to provide the best possible fit. The upper's construction evenly hugs the foot without pressure points, enabling excellent power transfer while eliminating energy dispersion and the unpleasant tingling sensation often caused by closure systems that don't evenly distribute pressure.
This is made possible by the easy-to-use SLW3 system, which ensures an optimal fit. The mechanism allows for millimeter-by-millimeter adjustment of the fit, even while riding and wearing winter gloves.

The new Easyfit collar, made of the extremely flexible Gore-Tex Rattler® membrane and highly insulating neoprene, provides exceptional freedom of movement and maximum protection against adverse weather conditions. The ergonomic heel shape with anatomical fit, improved by the latest thermoformed support technology, combined with the Arctic 4Layer insert made of Aluminum EVA+ and EVA+ fleece, provides excellent thermal insulation. 360° reflective inserts increase visibility and safety on the road, especially in low visibility conditions.
