K2 TALKBACK 84 Women's Touring Skis

The K2 Talkback 84 are excellent, versatile women's touring skis and the narrowest skis in the Back Side collection. They are ideal for ski touring, providing maximum enjoyment both while moving uphill and skiing through deep snow. Thanks to their geometry and specifications, the Talkback offer reliable handling both on the descent and through turns, while remaining lightweight on the ascent. They are undoubtedly the ideal choice for anyone who enjoys travelling through the mountains on skis in winter. The skis are intended for advanced users and for those who have already acquired the appropriate technique for moving in off-piste conditions.

The K2 Talkback 84 feature an All-Terrain Rocker construction with a progressively raised tip designed to make the skis easier to handle in deeper powder, resulting in greater downhill comfort. The ski profile is also raised at the rear, making it easier to maintain control during descents and when moving through varied snow conditions. Optimal ski stiffness is achieved through a paulownia wood core used in the Paulownia Tour Lite construction. It was developed to provide sufficient ski stiffness while keeping the weight low. Another clear advantage of the Talkback 84 model is the specially developed Snophobic TopSheet – a hydrophobic material placed on the upper surface of the ski that prevents snow from sticking. This means that during the ascent, you do not have to carry the additional weight of snow stuck to the skis.

The skis feature Skin Grommets technology: special openings located at the tip and tail that are compatible with the Z-Clip system used in K2 skins, allowing the skins to be mounted very easily and intuitively. The openings also make it possible to build a toboggan when using a BCA avalanche shovel.
