K2 Excavator Snowboard

The K2 Excavator is a snowboard designed for riders who love deep turns on groomed pistes and riding fresh powder. Thanks to the Volume Shift™ concept, its wide profile and 20 mm taper, it offers exceptional stability, huge flotation reserves and the ability to ride a shorter board without sacrificing performance. This model is made for snowboarders looking for maximum fun both during fast carving and on freeride days after snowfall.

The directional Directional shape with a Directional Camber profile provides strong edge hold, dynamic pop and excellent control at high speeds. The wider construction reduces the risk of boot drag in deep turns, which will be particularly appreciated by riders with larger boot sizes.

At the heart of the board is the S1 Core, made from bamboo, aspen and paulownia. It combines high strength, smooth flex and effective vibration damping. Bamboo reinforcements running the full length of the core increase responsiveness and durability, while lightweight paulownia wood reduces rotational mass, improving maneuverability.

The ICG™ 10 Glass with Carbon technology increases the board’s dynamics and lifespan without making the construction excessively stiff. In addition, Carbon Power Fork™ stores energy during turns, providing a more powerful exit from the turn and greater pop for ollies and natural takeoffs in the terrain.

Speed comes from the high-end Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base, which retains wax for a long time and guarantees an exceptionally fast glide in all snow conditions. The Snophobic™ Topsheet coating reduces snow buildup on the board, while the lightweight and durable Hybritech™ Construction improves durability and reduces swing weight.

Thanks to Volume Shift™ technology, the board’s surface area has been shifted closer to the center, allowing you to choose a model 4–10 cm shorter than the standard length while maintaining full stability, excellent flotation and exceptional maneuverability.
