K2 Commonwealth Unisex Snowboard

The K2 Commonwealth is an advanced freeride snowboard designed for riders who fell in love with the Passport model but expect even greater stability, precision and confidence when riding at high speed and in demanding terrain. Based on the proven geometry of the Passport, the Commonwealth features a stronger construction, a stiffer character and K2's most advanced technologies, making it an excellent choice for steep slopes, deep snow and dynamic all-mountain riding.

The Camber profile combined with the directional, tapered (Tapered Directional) shape provides maximum edge grip, excellent stability at high speeds and great float in powder. The construction has been designed to maintain precise handling on hard-packed slopes while making it easier to ride in natural terrain.

At the heart of the snowboard is the A1 Core – a lightweight core made of bamboo, aspen and paulownia. The bamboo positioned at a 30° angle beneath the bindings increases durability and response speed, the aspen provides dynamic pop, and the paulownia reduces rotational mass, improving manoeuvrability without sacrificing stability.

The model's key distinguishing feature is the patented Spectral Braid™ technology, which allows the snowboard's longitudinal and torsional stiffness to be adjusted independently. Thanks to its variable fibre layout, the Commonwealth offers exceptionally precise handling, plenty of energy when exiting turns and stability even at very high speeds.

The Triax Fiberglass layer increases torsional stiffness and control, while the Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base – Crown's premium sintered base – provides maximum speed and long-lasting wax retention. The Snophobic™ Topsheet reduces snow adhesion to the snowboard, helping to keep its weight lower while riding and hiking.

The package is completed by the lightweight and exceptionally durable Hybritech™ Construction, which reduces the snowboard's weight, improves its durability and increases manoeuvrability.
