K2 Alchemist Snowboard

K2 Alchemist is the most advanced freeride snowboard in the K2 Landscape Collection. It was designed for riders who expect maximum precision, stability and control when riding at high speed. Whether the goal is aggressive carving, steep couloirs, deep powder or fast lines in demanding terrain, the Alchemist delivers top-level performance. This is equipment for snowboarders who refuse to compromise.

For the 2027 season, the model has undergone its biggest redesign in several years. At the heart of the construction is the completely new S1 Pro Core – the most advanced core in K2 history, hand-assembled from 78 wood elements. The combination of paulownia, bamboo and aspen has made it possible to significantly reduce the board’s weight while increasing its dynamics, vibration damping and handling precision. Bamboo stringers running the full length of the board improve pop and reduce vibrations, while aspen reinforcements under the bindings ensure instant energy transfer to the edge.

The Directional Camber profile with subtle Early Rise rocker in the nose provides maximum edge hold, enormous stability at high speeds and excellent float in deep snow. The directional shape with a 0.75" setback gives the Alchemist confident handling both on hardpack and during the most demanding off-piste descents.

Also new for the 2027 season is the enhanced Recess3D technology. Precision CNC milling removes unnecessary material from the central sections of the nose and tail while leaving the structural edges thicker. The result is lower weight, reduced swing weight and even better vibration damping without sacrificing stiffness or durability.

Exceptional precision comes from Spectral Braid – a multidirectional fiberglass weave with variable fiber angles that allows precise control of torsional stiffness and the board’s ride character. SpaceGlass™ technology is also used in the front section, reducing weight, improving edge pressure and increasing stability when riding in uneven terrain.

The model is equipped with a premium Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base, which, thanks to its factory wax infusion, provides exceptionally fast glide and retains its properties for longer even during intensive riding. The construction is completed by a water-repellent SnoPhobic™ Topsheet, which reduces snow sticking to the board during climbs and descents.
