Disc golf has been a popular sport for over 40 years, particularly in the United States, where it originated. It is currently gaining a growing number of enthusiasts, including in Poland.

It's a fusion of golf and throwing sports like Ultimate. The basic idea is similar to golf: to make as few throws as possible from the tee to the point where your disc lands in a special disc golf basket. Instead of expensive golf equipment, we use specially designed flying discs. This sport can be enjoyed by all ages, and the basics are very easy to learn, making it a great sport for the entire family.

To obtain the best results in the game , for different throws and different distances, different types of discs are provided and it is recommended to have a set of at least three, one from each category.

• Putter – considered the most important, as it is used for the final shots and the final drive to the basket. The slowest type with the greatest precision.


• Mid - range – a disc used for covering medium to long distances. It combines speed and precision with ease of throwing.


• Driver - the fastest and most aerodynamic type for initial throws and covering the longest distances. The least accurate and precise.
