The boys’ winter coat with a membrane from 4F is an insulated model with an extended cut, designed for everyday wear, school, walks and outdoor activities in cold conditions. The NeoDry 5000/3000 membrane, synthetic insulation and hydrophobic DWR treatment provide a combination of protection against cold, wind and moisture. The regular fit and length reaching approximately to the knees allow additional clothing layers to be worn comfortably and increase body coverage during winter activities. The main fabric, lining and insulation are all made of 100% polyester. The lightweight synthetic insulation made of 100% polyester helps limit heat loss while providing thermal comfort without excessive weight. The smooth polyester lining makes it easier to put the coat on over a sweatshirt or fleece. The extended construction additionally protects the hips and thighs from cold air, making the model suitable for everyday outings and longer periods outdoors. The 4F NeoDry 5000/3000 membrane provides water resistance of 5000 mm water column and breathability of 3000 g/m²/24 h. The membrane limits the penetration of moisture and wind while supporting the transfer of water vapour generated during activity. The outer fabric is coated with a hydrophobic DWR treatment, which reduces fabric saturation and helps water droplets run off the surface. The combination of these solutions increases comfort during light rain, snowfall and changeable winter weather. The integrated hood with an elasticated finish and soft lining provides additional head protection, while the high collar protects the neck area from cold air. The one-way zip with an internal wind flap helps limit wind penetration through the fastening and heat loss. The non-adjustable cuffs provide a simple, comfortable sleeve finish suitable for everyday use.
