BBB DiscGuard Plus Mudguard Set

BBB DiscGuard Plus Mudguard Set (BFD-66S)

The BBB DiscGuard Plus (BFD-66S) is a full-coverage mudguard designed for bicycles with disc brakes, developed for quick installation and removal. The construction is designed to reduce water and mud spray in wet conditions while allowing the position relative to the wheel to be adjusted. Compatibility covers tyres from 40 to 60 mm wide, making the mudguard suitable for gravel bikes as well as many MTB configurations with 28- and 29-inch wheels.

The mudguard’s geometry allows adjustment of the angle, height and length, making it easier to set the clearance above the tyre. This is particularly important when riding in mud, as material can build up on the tread, increasing the actual wheel diameter and potentially causing rubbing. The adjustment allows the mudguard to be positioned closer to the tyre for better protection or to increase the clearance when clogging resistance is the priority.

The mounting system uses a large rubber contact surface that stabilises the mudguard’s position on the frame or fork and reduces its tendency to move under the influence of vibrations. At the same time, the rubber contact area reduces the risk of localised paint damage at the mounting point. The mudguard is made of PP material containing 75% recycled content, with the material declared compliant with GRS certification.
